Pastor Mike Brooks recently completed a full LED lighting retrofit project in the church, administrative offices, and community room. He replaced the older inefficient fluorescent lamps with new high-efficiency LED lamps. He worked with a local contractor to replace a total of 250 old lamps with new LED lamps. He also completely removed seven fixtures to save even more energy. This project qualified for a $1,217 rebate from Princeton Public Utilities. The project reduces greenhouse gas emissions equivalent to planting five acres of forest. Pastor Brooks shared, “We are always trying to save money and we will do that with the LED lights. The rebate was helpful in allowing us to do more.”
