Montly Meetings During Covid-19 Pandemic

Since the need for reliable electricity and clean water has not gone away, the Princeton Public Utilities Commission will still conduct its monthly meeting scheduled for Wednesday, March 25th at 1pm. However, in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the meeting will be held via a video conference call and all attendees will be attending remotely. The meeting will be live streamed on the Princeton Public Utilities’ Facebook page and a copy of the video will be posted on our website following the meeting.

Much like the City of Princeton has done, it is our desire to encourage and promote civic engagement while still protecting staff and the public from the outbreak. To that end, individuals that wish to have information presented during the open forum are asked to email those requests to info@princetonutilities.com along with your name and address by 11am on March 25th, 2020.

We can also accept video entries for the Public Forum. Be sure to include your name and address and please keep your video length to three minutes or less. Video entries should be submitted as soon as possible, but no later than 8am on March 25th to ensure that we are able to include the entry in the video conference for all to see. If we experience technical difficulties, we will summarize your comments to the Commission.

We thank you for your patience as we learn how best to operate in this new environment. Over time we expect that this process will improve and promote even more participation by the public.

Thank You,

Keith R. Butcher

General Manager of Princeton Public Utilities
