Walmart completed an extensive remodel project this past summer. The project included replacing older refrigerated cases with new high efficiency cases. The new cases have no-heat glass doors, high efficiency evaporator fan motors, and LED light fixtures. All store lighting is now high efficiency LED fixtures. These projects qualified for about $16,000 in rebates. The energy savings from these projects reduce annual greenhouse gases equivalent to the emissions of thirty-one passenger vehicles. Store Manager, Jason Neuville shared “We are proud of our store in Princeton. These upgrades provide an improved customer experience while also saving money.”
