Plastic Products is one of the largest customers for Princeton Public Utilities. They are constantly investing in equipment upgrades and being proactive to reduce energy waste. Since 2023 the company has purchased nine more efficient all-electric or hybrid injection molding machines. These projects have qualified for about $54,000 in rebates through our custom rebate program. The company also participates in our annual compressed air leak survey program. Since 2023 these free surveys have qualified for $2,400 in rebates. The energy savings from these projects reduce annual greenhouse gases equivalent to the emissions of two hundred seventy-seven passenger vehicles. Ken shared, “The energy savings we achieve are only part of the benefits of these investments. We also reduce material waste and have less rejected parts.”
